Loratadine - Interactions and Warnings

At dosages of 10 mg daily, commonly reported adverse events were somnolence, fatigue and headache.

In healthy men and women, concomitant nefazodone treatment at a therapeutic dose increases exposure to both terfenadine and carboxyterfenadine. A similar interaction occurs with loratadine, although it is of lesser magnitude.

Loratadine may make your skin sensitive to sunlight.

Several sources stress telling your physician if you are taking clarithromycin, erythromycin, troleandomycin, itraconazole, or ketoconazole.

Excessive drowsiness if combined with sedating herbs, supplements or medications.
