Pentoxifylline - Interactions and Warnings

Study demonstrates an interaction between theophylline and pentoxifylline, and indicates that close monitoring of serum theophylline concentrations during combination therapy is warranted.

Pentoxifylline is a hemorheologic agent with primary actions that include increasing erythrocyte flexibility, reducing blood viscosity and increasing microcirculatory flow and tissue perfusion.
