During your week-long stay you will enjoy a complete fitness program designed in accordance with your individual fitness assessment; an advanced body and skin care program utilizing sophisticated European techniques; slimming, gourmet meals, nutritionally balanced and beautifully prepared; seven nights' accommodations in your own guest cottage, transportation to and from San Diego International Airport; and of course, the attentive, personalized care of our highly skilled, professional staff of internationally trained specialists.

Mornings start early with a not-to-be-missed hike through our 200 acres or a vigorous walk across the golf course into the surrounding hills highlighted by the wonderful panoramic sunrise views, and then, after breakfast, it's on to a stretch class, a workout with weights, a private tennis lesson, a Spinning class, a round of boxing, or perhaps a game of water volleyball.

Evening activities are spent either in the comfort and privacy of your villa or attending one of the educational lectures available before retiring, relaxed and complete.

Cal-a-Vie's fitness program is a comprehensive, seven day regime designed to help you achieve your personal fitness goals: stress reduction, relaxation, weight control, toning. Your exercise program begins with a personal fitness assessment.

This evaluation is used to develop a sensible, integrated, balanced program of exercise and nutrition-one that will fit into your lifestyle to produce lasting results. Whether you are just getting started in exercise or you are at a high level there is something for you. Exercise begins each morning with a brisk walk along trails that ribbon through Cal-a-Vie's tranquil hillsides. Fitness scheduling offers aerobic conditioning, body contouring classes, water sports and personalized workouts in our gym. Tennis courts are on the premises; golf may be enjoyed at an adjacent private country club.
