Michel Stroot, the Golden Door's Executive Chef has been lauded for his innovative and flavorful cuisine. Guests rave about the low-fat, low-calorie, and delicious cuisine.

The Golden Door's high-flavor, low-fat repertoire has been hailed by Gourmet Magazine as "delicate and delicious spa cuisine." Breakfast is served in-room. Lunch, dinner, and morning and afternoon snacks are served in some outdoor location, Most vegetables and fruits are picked just steps from the kitchen door in the organic vegetable garden.

An onsite nutritionist offers personal consultation to each guest. Individual dietary requirements can be accommodated.

The organic vegetable garden produces most of the fresh vegetables for the Golden Door kitchen. Over 75 varieties available for harvest on most days.
